11 COSAR members responded to rescue two males who went hiking and camping on Okanagan Mountain but were ill-equipped for the weather. Both subjects were located in good condition and escorted out by SAR members.
7 COSAR was called out by RCMP to rescue two 15 year old boys that became separated on Mt. Boucherie during a school hiking trip. SAR was stood down when it was learned that the Kelowna Fire Department had high angle rescue expertise and had responded to conduct the rescue.
22 COSAR and 9 Penticton SAR members responded to rescue an injured mountain biker near Smith Road in West Kelowna. The subject was brought out using HETS and passed to over to BCAS for further assessment and treatment
20 Central Okanagan SAR members responded to rescue a 60 year old female who experienced chest heaviness and passed out on a trail in the Mission Creek Greenway near Kelowna. The subject was picked up and transported by BCAS Air Ambulance.
9 Central Okanagan SAR members responded to search for an elderly diabetic male missing in the area of Forks Road in Kelowna. While en route to the location, the SAR team was stood down as an RCMP officer had located the male.
BCAS requested COSAR respond for a medical rescue of an injured snowmobiler with a possible broken femur. 18 COSAR members were stood down while mustering when they were advised that the subject was brought safely out of the area to an awaiting ambulance.
