22 COSAR and 9 Penticton SAR members responded to rescue an injured mountain biker near Smith Road in West Kelowna. The subject was brought out using HETS and passed to over to BCAS for further assessment and treatment
20 Central Okanagan SAR members responded to rescue a 60 year old female who experienced chest heaviness and passed out on a trail in the Mission Creek Greenway near Kelowna. The subject was picked up and transported by BCAS Air Ambulance.
9 Central Okanagan SAR members responded to search for an elderly diabetic male missing in the area of Forks Road in Kelowna. While en route to the location, the SAR team was stood down as an RCMP officer had located the male.
BCAS requested COSAR respond for a medical rescue of an injured snowmobiler with a possible broken femur. 18 COSAR members were stood down while mustering when they were advised that the subject was brought safely out of the area to an awaiting ambulance.
2 Central Okanagan SAR members responded to search for a snowmobiler that had contacted police to advise he was stranded on a mountain in the Big White area. SAR was stood down while mustering when RCMP Air 3 advised the subject had been rescued.
1 COSAR member was called to assist RCMP with locating a male and his 2 sons who failed to return from retrieving their vehicle after it had been abandoned days before on the Bear Creek Main Road in West Kelowna. SAR was stood down when police advised that the subjects had been in touch with the family.
