Saturday afternoon COSAR was called out by BCEHS to assist in locating and evacuating an injured dirt bike rider from the trails above Bear Creek Main FSR.
On top of weekly regular full team trainings, COSAR members also put time in training with various specialty teams.
This weekend was a busy one for COSAR with both a marine search on Okanagan Lake and an urban search in downtown Kelowna.

Just after noon on Wednesday, COSAR was asked to assist BC Ambulance to access, stabilize, and transport an older female subject off the Myra Canyon rail trail.
Sunday was another busy day for COSAR.
Last night around 10 p.m. Central Okanagan Search and Rescue was called out to look for a lost 11 year old boy near Mission Creek Park and Springfield Road.
